After a major weather storm in Portsmouth literally ripped the roof off one of the buildings at BAE Systems, Portsmouth, we were urgently requested to relocated a large number of telephony services to an adjacent building on site. Once the building was repaired we then had to move the telephony services back. The Solent NHS training centre in Southampton needed an upgrade to their existing audio visual solution which comprised of a desktop projector and pull down projection screen. They had seen the impressive Smartboard installations we had completed at NHS Omega House and with advice decided that they needed the same solution to enhance their training room environments. As well as installing the Smartboard 680 interactive whiteboards we also relocated network connections to allow for a single point of connection for all services. Portsmouth Communications were invited to tender for Smartboard Interactive Whiteboard upgrades at Northbrook College in Worthing. The job entailed removal and disposal of existing interactive whiteboards and installation of new Smartboard 880 type boards.
